Senior Consultant, Credit Risk & Modelling – Report directly to the Head of Consulting Business
Job Description
Information Service
- Developing/Maintaining information services in analytics wise.
- Performing backtests in terms of risk scores, marketing score and income score.
- Preparing information in sales proposal and communicating with customers.
- Performing analysis for lead-gen services & supporting implementation.
- Any other tasks related to information services assigned by HOD.
Consulting Service
- Participate, take ownership and responsibility for all projects of department to deliver service to customers as per company’s quality standard and expected client expectation. Report and work closely with Head of Department for risk management and quality control.
- Work individually or with team to develop statistical and machine learning models (ABC Scorecards) for business development and credit risk management purpose.
- Perform NICE’s solutions such as N Builder, N Strategy ML in projects and training sessions.
- Conduct projects of enhance retail credit process and Basel related projects.
- Make introduction presentation and proposal material to customers in consulting service.
- Manage customers to support Business Development Managers.
- Build and nurture positive working relationship with customers. Understand the demand and the need of customers during the project to meet and exceed their expectations. – Perform other task assignments when required.

Job Requirement
- University degree in Banking and Finance, Statistics, Finance mathematics, Risk Management, Economics, Information Technology or Business related discipline. Having professional qualifications (FRM, CFA) is a plus.
- Have from 3 years of relevant experience in Consulting or Banking & Finance industry.
- Have experience in credit risk, good understanding in internal process, policies, regulations and practices in banks/ financial companies.
- Be familiar with financial instruments and financial models.
- Have programming skills (SAS, R, MATLAB, SPSS, SQL or any equivalent programs)
- Have strong analytical skills, logical thinking skills, be able to work independently.
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent English is required. Have ability to work effectively with both local and international team to complete multiple projects.
Salary & Benefit
- Competitive salary package based on candidate’s knowledge and skills (open to negotiate). Annual salary review based on performance once per year.

- Full paid 15 leave days, working from Monday to Friday
Working time/place
Working time: Flexible working time, check in by 8:30 AM, 8 hours/day, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
